Here’s what you can expect from the volunteering process:
Application before 26th of September: The first step in becoming an Impact Day volunteer is to complete the online application form below. In the form, you’ll need to provide some basic information about yourself, including your name, contact details, and any relevant experience or skills.
Group interview (if needed): Once we receive your application, we’ll review it and schedule an interview with you to get to know you better. This interview will be done via video call, and it’s an opportunity for us to learn more about your interests, skills and availability.
Assignment: After the interview, you’ll be assigned to a specific role or task based on your skills, interests and availability. We’ll provide you with a detailed description of your role, as well as any necessary instructions or materials.
Virtual training on 4th of October: We’ll meet with all the volunteers one week prior to the festival. It’s all about getting to know each other, the venue and how to make the best impact.
On-site volunteering: During the week of the festival, you’ll arrive at the designated time and location, meet your team leader and fellow volunteers, and start your assigned tasks. You’ll have the support of your team leader and the rest of the volunteer team, as well as access to food and drinks during your shift.
Celebration: At the end of the festival on October 11th, you’ll have the chance to celebrate the accomplished impact with fellow volunteers, speakers and partners.
