Impact Day was born from a simple wish: to create a movement around sustainability & make it sexy. As all movements have usually some kind of events, then the easiest step seemed to create a festival that would celebrate impact making and bring together like-minded people.
Now as the largest sustainability event in the Baltics and Nordics with more than 4000 attendees from over 15 countries Impact Day is creating the momentum we so much need for the sake of our planet & planet.
There’s one reason and one reason only why Impact Day has managed to become the leading sustainability event in the region: the team behind it.
Our team consists of people who are very similar and yet also different. We all ache to act for impact (in different ways). We all strive to be the best versions of ourselves (in different areas). We all love to work as we have fun (okay, no difference here!). This is what makes the team great.
We are admirers of Frederic Laloux work “Reinventing Organisations”. This means that all of us are independent and responsible people from who we expect the best. We do not have fancy titles or administrative processes. Point is to deliver good results, trust others to give their best & win and lose as a team.
We are all good in our job, put a lot of effort into getting better & ... love to laugh a lot!
Impact Day is always evolving, so there is always something new to master and lead if you want to get better. For example we are building a franchise model just now!
Besides making sustainability sexy, our own footprint is small as well & social impact is covered well. So you can learn how to walk the talk.
