What is Impact EXPO?

Impact EXPO is the latest addition to Impact Day, the largest impact and sustainability festival in the Baltics.

Impact EXPO provides guidance on how to make sustainable choices and move towards a better tomorrow. An inspiring, educational and entertaining day will take place on 12 October 11-17 at the Põhjala factory.

Impact EXPO, taking place for the first time ever, brings together an inspiring community, sustainability practitioners and fun entertainment.

Impact EXPO is a meeting place for those who want to improve themselves, others and the world around them in an environmentally friendly, responsible and sustainable way.

There are 50+ cool booths at EXPO – there’s lots to see, taste, and try!

For example, in the exhibition area you can:

Try out: whether you can tell the difference between bottled and tap water; your balance and stamina; the face gym; industrial cleaning machines.

Taste a variety of exciting sustainable products – sunflower seed butter, ice cream, coffee, herbal teas, popcorn, nuts, lemonade, fruit, punch, fresh juice and much more.

Discover: sustainable energy solutions and hear experts explain; plant-based food experts; soil stabilisation technology; sustainable materials; research; how the Masterchef Estonia 2024 winner cooks.

Participate in: a series of quizzes (e.g., would you be a good teacher?); fun games; roll the dice and the fishing wheel; role-playing games.

Here’s how to find your way around Impact EXPO – how to find the booths you wish to visit, and the speakers you wish to hear. And do not worry, we will be there to help you every step of the way!
Kids will have fun!

There will be exciting activities for the little ones in the children area at Impact EXPO. On the second floor of the Põhjala factory, there is a lovely Tallink children’s area.

Sea lovers can have fun in the ball pit. On the Tallink ship in the children’s area, you can make key holders from string. Harri the seal will be there to greet all the children and take a picture with. On the Baltic Sea Promise Wall, children can write down what each child will do to keep the sea clean and nature protected.

In addition, there will be a variety of fun activities in the children’s area throughout the day:

11.45 – Dance Duo TiMedam will perform in the children’s area.
12.00 – TVO litter sorting training & game in the Tallink children’s area.
13.15 – Performance by Dance Duo TiMedam in the children’s area.
14.15 – TVO waste sorting training & game in the Tallink children’s area.

Epp Kärsin is a well-known sex educator in Estonia who is passionate about teaching people to be aware of their sexual health and make informed choices about their sexuality. Epp’s interest in sexuality started from a young age, and she has since studied anatomy, physiology, and Chinese medicine, among other subjects.

Epp is a self-taught sex educator who has gained knowledge and experience through her own exploration of sexuality. She offers workshops and lectures on various sexual health topics, aiming to fill the gap in the Estonian education system regarding sexual health education. Her mission is to help people understand that sexuality is a wonderful part of life, and that being aware of it can empower individuals to live their lives as they desire. Epp believes that love can save the world and that sexual health education is a crucial part of that process.

Jüri Pootsmann

Jüri Pootsmann’s career has been anything but tranquil since he burst onto the Estonian music scene in 2015. During this time, he has won a superstar show, participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, released 2 albums, countless successful singles, concerts and a career in radio and TV.

Jüri is a wonderful addition to the glittering line-up of superstar winners, having found his musical direction at a young age – combining pop, alternative and synth elements to appeal to audiences outside his home country.

Jarek Kasar

Jarek Kasar (stage name Chalice) is an Estonian composer, singer and lyricist. He writes his songs based on his own stories from life. “My songs reflect the life I live, the way I see things, the way I see and perceive the world.”

He started his musical career as a rapper, but his musical experiments have blended musical traditions from all over the world. His first album was released in 2003 and was called “Ühendatud inimesed”. His song “Minu inimesed” was performed at the 2007 Youth Song and Dance Festival “Ilmapuu” and reached the hearts of almost every Estonian.

What is the latest time when I can buy tickets?

You also have the opportunity to buy a ticket on the day of the event at Põhjala Factory, but to make it cheaper, we recommend buying a ticket as early as possible.
Can I buy a ticket on the spot?

Yes, but only through the website and if there are any tickets left by then.
Could I get an invoice which I can use for payment?

Simply mark the square box when you’re in the middle of the buying process and you will receive an invoice to your email. After payment, you will automatically receive the tickets.
Can I give my ticket to somebody else?

Yes, you can. If you need to change the name or owner on the ticket, please write to info@impactday.eu and also send us the confirmation email that you got when you bought the ticket(s).
Is it possible to get a refund if I can't make it to Impact EXPO?

No, unfortunately our tickets are not refundable.
Can I take my child with me?

Not only you can, we highly recommend it! Children up to 6 years (included) can enjoy the event for free. Family tickets are available, allowing families to visit Impact EXPO at a reduced price.
Are pets allowed at Impact EXPO?

No – we kindly ask you to leave your furry friends at home during the EXPO day.
I have a disability. Can I still enjoy full access to all the activities and areas in the event?
