The programme was very meaningful and the atmosphere was supportive and inspiring. The Impact Day organisers themselves were highly motivated to follow environmentally friendly principles and did a great job in organising the event on site.
What I realised at some point during the festival was that … I do not know all the people here. And that felt really great! I have been around for some time pushing sustainability agenda and then one naturally becomes stuck in certain professional circles. You know, tend to meet same people at conferences and engage in activities with the same people…. And now, wow, yes fresh wave of change makers appear and luckily they are many.
Thoroughly thought-out UX. Pre-event info came out with good intervals and at the right time for the visitor. Your volunteers were awesome – they boldly approached and offered help. I also noticed your environmentally friendly activities (e.g. water, cards, transport).
Impact Day is an exceptional festival that aligns perfectly with my personal core values. This event not only celebrates but also actively promotes an understanding of our role in the world, encouraging participants to be more conscious of their actions and their impact on the environment. At its heart, Impact Day fosters a culture of awareness, urging us to think beyond the immediate and consider the broader implications of our lifestyle choices.
Impact Day is a wonderful way to discover practical tips for a more conscious approach to sustainable living and working. For example, did you know that buying single bananas in shops prevents many more from going to waste? Such environmental hints are bountiful in our expos, workshops, and sessions; learn specific tactics for taking better care of our world.
We remove the worry about waste at Impact Day by saying “no!” to disposable dishes, gifts, and many other items. We aim to reduce waste by 95% and cooperate closely with many organisations to ensure we leave the smallest possible footprint behind our event’s activities. You’ll notice additional examples of this strategy, and we welcome any new ideas you bring!
